The primary goal behind Fairmount Properties’ programmatically linked residential initiative is to create dynamic environments whereby alumni and other active adults can thrive physically, intellectually and socially by reconnecting to the wide range of offerings and amenities an engaging campus community can provide.

Participating owners and/or renters receive a variety of exclusive privileges that include attending sporting events, theatrical and musical performances, utilizing recreation, dining and library facilities, auditing classes, lecturing and mentoring students and much more.

This initiative, typically created in partnership with an institution’s Alumni and Development team, promotes a greater likelihood of periodic or planned giving as a result of the resident's enhanced engagement and geographic proximity to campus. A variety of housing types, price points and branding are offered utilizing industry-best practices.

NICHE HOUSING

While Fairmount Properties has the experience to build larger scale housing facilities, its passion lies in pioneering unique styles of housing geared to faculty, an adjacent workforce or a tailored academic population with amenities specifically geared to their field of study i.e. Music students with practice rooms, Architect students who assist in the design and construction process, Business students with group study rooms outfitted with advanced technology, etc.
